This online graduate course equips today’s World Language teacher with strategies for helping diverse learners in the classroom. Among the diverse populations covered, the focus will be on Heritage Learners, gifted learners, and students who have difficulties in learning language. Ideas for differentiated instruction and scaffolding will be discussed, and each participant will create relevant classroom activities as part of a final portfolio.
