This affordable M.Ed. degree was designed with World Language teachers (French) in mind and is planned to impact the quality of teaching and learning in L2 classrooms by preparing master teachers with expertise in their content discipline.

Degree Requirements and Admission

Admission to the program is not a requirement to begin taking graduate courses. Students may work through our courses with CSU-Pueblo and then later apply these credits to the degree*.

To earn the master's degree, students must successfully complete:
  • World Language emphasis requirement: 18 graduate credits in World Language PD courses taught in French (students must select CSU-Pueblo when registering).
  • Pedagogy requirement: 9 graduate credits related to Instructional Technology, Differentiation of Instruction, and Literacy.
  • Core/Education requirement: ​11 graduate credits in core courses taken directly from Colorado State University-Pueblo. These courses include Teacher as Change Agent, Teacher as Researcher and Innovator, Leading Change in Today’s Schools, and Seminar in Education.
