Meet your goalsThis affordable M.Ed. degree was designed with World Language teachers in mind and is planned to impact the quality of teaching and learning in L2 classrooms by preparing master teachers with expertise in their content discipline.

Degree Requirements and Admission
Admission to the program is not a requirement to begin taking graduate courses. Students may work through degree requirements and then later apply these credits to the degree (students must select CSU-Pueblo when registering).

*Please contact us for additional information regarding this M.Ed. degree, its requirements, and its applicability to dual credit/college teaching requirements. Generally, college/dual credit faculty must complete 18 graduate credits related to their discipline as part of their master's degree. To maximize acceptance, make sure that all of the graduate courses you select as part of this degree are taught in the language you plan on teaching. Requirements are subject to change. In the event that CSU-Pueblo offers differing information, the information from CSU-Pueblo prevails.
Master's degree requirements:
- Degree emphasis/major: 18 graduate credits offered by World Language PD in Spanish, French, German, Japanese, or World Language Education.
- Pedagogy: 9 graduate credits related to Instructional Technology, Differentiation of Instruction, and Literacy in courses taken directly from Colorado State University-Pueblo.
- Core/Education: 11 graduate credits in core courses taken directly from Colorado State University-Pueblo. These courses include Teacher as Change Agent, Teacher as Researcher and Innovator, Leading Change in Today’s Schools, and Seminar in Education.
